CTR (Click-Through Rate)
The percentage of ad impressions that result in clicks. Calculated as (Clicks ÷ Impressions) × 100. A key indicator of ad relevance and creative quality.
What Is CTR?
CTR (Click-Through Rate) measures how often people who see your ad actually click on it. A CTR of 0.5% means 5 out of every 1,000 impressions result in a click.
What Is a Good CTR on Amazon?
For Sponsored Products, a CTR of 0.3% to 0.5% is average. Above 0.5% is good. For Sponsored Brands, CTRs tend to be lower (0.2% to 0.4%) due to their banner format.
Why It Matters
Low CTR means your ad copy, image, price, or targeting isn't resonating. Amazon also uses CTR as a signal - ads with higher CTR tend to get better placement at lower costs.
