Webhook Alerts

Webhook Alerts let SellerLegend send the alerts you already receive in the app and by email to a web address that you or your developer control. When SellerLegend raises an alert, such as a lost Buy Box, a listing change, a suppressed listing, low inventory, a return or a failed Amazon connection, it sends an HTTPS POST with a JSON body to every endpoint attached to that rule. From there you can post it into team chat, open a helpdesk ticket, update an internal dashboard or start any workflow you build. Setup takes a few minutes in Account Settings → Notifications: add an endpoint with a label and an https:// address on the Destinations tab, copy its signing secret, then tick Webhook on any notification rule and choose the endpoint. Every alert type can be sent by webhook, and each rule lets you choose which accounts it covers. Each delivery carries a stable event type such as sl.loss_of_buybox, a unique event ID, the account and marketplace it came from, and the alert details. Every request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 using a secret unique to that endpoint, with a timestamp, so your receiver can confirm it came from SellerLegend and reject replayed requests. Secrets can be rotated at any time. If your endpoint is down, SellerLegend makes up to five delivery attempts over roughly two and a half hours, honours Retry-After on a 429 response, and keeps the same event ID on every retry so you can ignore duplicates. Endpoints that keep failing, or that miss all five attempts for one delivery, are paused automatically and can be re-enabled from the Destinations tab once fixed. You can add up to 25 endpoints, and your existing in-app and email alerts keep working exactly as before.
