An additional fee Amazon charges for inventory stored in FBA warehouses for more than 180 days. Previously called Long-Term Storage Fee (LTSF). Increases significantly at 270+ and 365+ days.
What Is the Aged Inventory Surcharge?
Amazon penalizes slow-moving inventory with escalating surcharges. Units stored for 181-270 days incur a moderate surcharge, while those at 271-365 days and 365+ days face progressively steeper fees. This encourages sellers to maintain lean inventory.
