A unique 10-character alphanumeric identifier assigned by Amazon to every product in its catalog. Starts with "B0" for most products.
What Is an ASIN?
An ASIN is Amazon's internal product identifier. Every unique product on Amazon gets one ASIN. For books, the ASIN is the same as the ISBN. For all other products, it starts with "B0" followed by 8 alphanumeric characters (e.g., B0CDX1NTQY).
ASIN vs SKU
An ASIN identifies a product in Amazon's catalog (shared across all sellers of that product), while a SKU is your own internal identifier for your specific listing/variation.
