Amazon's ranking system that indicates how well a product sells relative to others in the same category. Lower BSR means higher sales volume.
What Is BSR?
BSR (Best Sellers Rank) is a number assigned to every product on Amazon that reflects its sales performance within its category. A BSR of #1 means it's the top-selling product in that category.
How BSR Works
BSR updates hourly and considers both recent sales velocity and historical sales data. It's category-specific - a product can have different BSRs in different categories.
BSR and Product Research
While BSR is useful for gauging demand, it should not be used as the sole indicator for product selection. A product with BSR #5,000 in a large category like "Kitchen & Dining" may sell far more than BSR #100 in a tiny subcategory.
